With the snowstorm arriving shortly, I have to shift into Mom mode for the rest of the day but I got a lot of questions last night about the botanical prints we (and by “we” I mean Andrew) hung in our foyer yesterday. These were antique engravings that I bought at Brimfield years ago. You’ve seen them in a few iterations in my home over the years, proof that buying well once can last a lifetime– the guest room:
In Emma’s nursery I used just a pair:
I had them float matted and framed by Framebridge in the Richmond frame so you can see the pretty deckled edge of the paper. My favorite source for prints like this is Panteek— such great options, although an overwhelming amount of them! Just make sure if buying a set they are all the same size!
You can find readily framed pieces in collections like this too, they just aren’t antiques- this set is pricey but you get so many– and a grid-like this is such a grand statement.
Alternatively, these are printable, and if you buy a bunch of matching affordable frames, can give you a similar look for much less!
